                                Prime Minister Skill Development Plan (PMKVY) is a major scheme of the Narendra Modi government under which youth are being provided skill training in different areas. The Government is providing skill training in various fields through authorized training centers across the country.
                                  A total of 2150 PMKVY training centers are operated across the country to provide skill training to the youth until March 23, 2017. These training centers are operated by various trained training partners of the Prime Minister Skill Development Plan. Below is a complete list of PMKVY training centers available that can be downloaded in the Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) format.

               There is a great news for home seekers, the central government has announced more subsidy in home loan interest rates under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme. During his speech to the nation on December 31, 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a subsidy in interest on the home loan under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme.
                  Under this scheme, the amount of home loan increased from 6 lakh to 12 lakh and subsidy at the interest rates would be 4%.

                                                   With the increase in the loan amount under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme, there will also be a considerable decrease in monthly installments. The central government will provide 4% subsidy instead of 6.5% subsidy on loans up to Rs 6 lakh and be giving 3% subsidy on home loan up to Rs 12 lakh. The home loan under PMAY can be taken for a maximum period of 20 years. The government has also included two new middle-income groups under this scheme.

                                               At this time, home loans are available from banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) at approximately 9% interest rates. After interest disbursement of 4%, the effective interest rate goes up to 5%, which is significantly reduced in EMI.

For example, a person takes a loan of 9 lakh rupees for 15 years, and at a lower interest rate of 4%, his savings are Rs 2,011, so that his monthly installment goes down from Rs 9,128 to Rs 7,117. And likewise, with a 3% lower interest on the loan of 12 lakh rupees, there is a monthly saving of Rs 2,044 in installments.

The central government has also announced to give up to 3% discount on the interest of home loan upto Rs 2 lakh in the year 2017 under the Pradhan Mantri Housing Scheme Rural.

Ministry of Communications, Government of India has launched a scholarship scheme called Deen Dayal Touch (Scholarship for Research in Postage Stamps as Interest) scheme across the country. This is a pan India scholarship scheme for those schoolchildren who are interested in collecting stamps. The objective of this scheme is to increase interest in stamp collection of school children.

Under the Deen Dayal Touch Scheme, the Ministry of Communications has proposed to provide the annual scholarship to the children. Under this scheme, students from class VI to IX will be included. However, this scheme is available only to students who hold good educational records and collect tickets as a hobby. This scheme is being implemented by the Department of Communications through the Department of Posts.

Under the touch scheme, 920 students will receive prizes for postage stamps as an interest. According to the notice, a competitive selection process will be conducted in each post Circle (state), of which 10 students out of class VI, VII, VIII, and IX each will be provided with maximum 40 scholarships. The total amount of scholarship will be Rs. 6000 /- per year or Rs. 500 /- per month.

Deen Dayal touch scheme selection process

1.The Performance Department will publish the notification for the enrollment of circle-wise students under the scheme.

2.While issuing notification of this scheme, the department will also provide a list of subjects for projects.

3.After this, the Authority will organize a circle-wise quiz competition for post-stamp collecting. The Quiz Competition will evaluate the student's eligibility.

4.The department will form a committee at the circle level, which will include postal officials and famous people collecting postage stamps. This committee will evaluate the work of postage stamp collection submitted by the students.

Eligibility Criteria for Deen Dayal Touch Scheme


Interested students can read the following eligibility criteria to avail the scheme.

The students who are studying in recognized schools in India will be eligible only for the scheme.

The student will be selected only from that school, which will be a filletly club and the student should be a member of that club.

However, if the school does not have a filletly club and the student who holds a personal correspondence will also be considered for inclusion in the scheme.

Students should get minimum 60% marks in the last year's examination, students belonging to scheduled caste / scheduled tribes will be given 5% discount.

Apart from this, a Philletly Guru selected from among the renowned Philatelists for every school participating in the competition will be appointed. These selected post-ticket consultants will help in the formation of a school level filletly club.

Apart from this, they will also provide guidance to young and interested Filatellists. They will guide their interest to this interest and guide interested philatelists on their postal stamp projects.
